JAY MAX is a bilingual Virgin Music/Universal Music artist from the New York City area. Even though he is only 21, he has released multiple original songs in English and in Spanish
on all platforms since 16. He recently graduated from Berklee College of Music with honors in May of 2022 in only 3 years. At Berklee, he had an active role in representing and developing the LatinX music community. As well, during his studies at Berklee, he was chosen to be a panelist at the Hispanic Heritage Month “Unpacking the X” seminar, where
Jay spoke about the impact that his generation of LatinX youth has on the music industry. He wrote and recorded an original song along with Jerry Barnes from Nile Rogers & Chic at NYC famous Power Station recording studios, as well as was featured on Fetty Wap's Line Up Vol. 2 Mixtape in late August 2020. He brings the LatinX influence into his music in an innovative and unique way. His travels to Medellin, Colombia prompted the creation of his song "Si Te Quedas," which was written and recorded alongside J Balvin & DJ Pope’s group 574; its music video and song received hundreds of thousands streams and views
across the platforms. He has recently been inducted as a member to the Recording Academy's Grammy U program. He was also featured in Amazon Music's LatinUp! program, where he performed upcoming music live. His recent singles have been on billboards in Times Square, New York City, and his latest releases are being heavily promoted throughout numerous media outlets, articles, radio spins, and features across Latin America and USA. He recently made his festival debut at Exa Fusion Fest in Monterrey, Mexico (June 8 2022.) He was just invited to participate at the MTV MIAW Awards in Mexico City, Mexico (July 8 2022.) He has been doing extensive press in Miami and was featured on various networks, including NBC's Telemundo show "Hoy Día" (August 2 2022) where he was interviewed and performed live. Jay was invited as an artist/influencer to attend the Billboard Latin Music Week & Latin Billboards Award Show in Miami (October 2022) and Latin Grammy Week in Las Vegas (November 2022.)
